Natural antioxidant (ORAC.5)
Olivesan® has superior antioxidant properties to those of any product on the market. Its ORAC.5 test (5 most common free radicals) having values of up to 80.000 ymol TE/gram according to Brunswick Laboratories (USA). It is a balanced antioxidant insofar as the proportion of the five radicals, which increases its versatility compared to other antioxidant extracts.
Olives as a raw material
The product is obtained from the olive, not from the leaf by natural processes, utilizing its own raw materials.
Olivesan® is made up of a group of phenols, principally hydroxytyrosol which, when combined with others (tyrosol, oleuropein, elenolic acid), creates synergy which unlocks its full potential.
Bioavailability is greater than 99%. This is due to the fact that the human organism recognizes the hydroxytyrosol molecule which already exists naturally in our body (in the brain and iris, for instance) Other natural antioxidants have a lower in vivo bioavailability.
Olivesan® is soluble in water, oils and ethanol (for cosmetics).
